Alicia Delia

INVESTOR RELATIONS

Alicia (She/Her) is an economist, entrepreneur and fundraiser. Grounded in her upbringing in Washington DC, El Salvador and Cameroon, Alicia chose to work in International Development Finance, bringing investment and funder capital to the most disenfranchised communities and individuals. Alicia’s work in fund development is strongly motivated by the belief that funders and investors could be active participants in shifting finance towards more dignified and collaborative practices that allow sustained economic impact to take root.

Alicia has worked throughout the United States, Africa and Latin America with organizations such as the United Nations, USAID, FINCA International, Shared Interest, Columbia University’s Earth Institute, the Government of the Dominican Republic, Rising Tide Capital and others. Alicia is also a small business owner. In 2009, she founded Greater Good Giving, an international consulting firm that provides small business coaching and fundraising services to entrepreneurs and non profit organizations. And In 2017 she co-founded Dream Martial Arts, a martial arts and nature school that works with children and adults to enhance self-defense skills, mindfulness and nature study-- and is the only Black-woman owned martial arts school in New Jersey.

Alicia holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with a regional focus in Latin America from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Bernard Baruch College.

Alicia’s free time is spent in nature with her husband and 2 children or over beautiful dinners laughing, plotting and relaxing with her amazing group of friends and fellow “mompreneurs.” Her favorite quote that hangs over her daughter’s bed is “she thought she could, and so she did.”
